"The Best Show Ever"

It was early in the morning when Vicky woke up.  She knew today was the day of the show, the show that she had been dreaming of all week. Vicky got up and got dressed she looked out and saw her horse, Silver, in the stable.

Vicky ran downstairs had a rushed breakfast and went out in to the yard to see to her horse. Silver was a 16.3hh grey with a docked mane. Vicky tacked Silver up and had a quick exercise round the outdoor school. Vicky was going to a 3 day event dressage, cross-country and show jumping.

The morning carried on and Silver was loaded into the horse trailer and taken to the show. In the morning Vicky and Silver came 2nd in the dressage and were looking forward to the cross-country when Silver stumbled and fell onto her knees.

"Oh no!" shouted Vicky because she knew that Silver wouldn't be able to compete in the show anymore.

Suddenly a famous voice rang out "you can ride my horse if you like." It was Mary King and Vicky was so stunned she could hardly speak.

"Well I....oh thank you, thank you," said Vicky in amazement.

Vicky rode well and she won the cross-country and the show jumping.

"Wow! Can you sign my saddle please," said Vicky.

That was the best show (apart from Silvers accident.)
