Winning Rides

Bobby is a normal 13-year-old girl.  Well, that is if you ignore the fact

that her Dad is the number one racehorse trainer in Britain.

The Mythes moved from America when Chris' Mum and Dad died.  It was

Diyannaras idea for Chris to set up a racehorse-training yard.

Diyannara is the editor of a fashion magazine.  Her magazine was called

'Birch Street', which is the main shopping street in London.  'Birch Street'

magazine is the most popular magazine in London.  She will sit in her study

watching Bobby school Minstrel, Jimmy, or Mouse.  Then bow her head for five

minutes while she writes and then watch Bobby jump a round of show jumps

Diyannara had never dreamed Bobby would jump.

Over the years, the money in racing improved and as the money improved,

Chris's style and ability improved.  He started winning a few races.  First

with his best horse Fine master II, (who is the son of Fine master who was

the greatest show jumper next to Milton with Diyanarra.) then with others.

He hadn't given up on point to pointing because he still has some pointers

in training at his yard but only a few.

Bobby's aim was outside racing; it was to represent Britain at European

level doing three-day-eventing on her ponies Minstrel, Jimmy, and Mouse.

However, disaster strikes when Chris dies in a freak riding accident and

Diyanarra falls into despair and gives up hope and willingness to help Bobby

get to international level in three-day-eventing.  She sells off most of the

horses and almost the house, Mouse was sold to her best friend, Emma who

keeps her at Bobby's' yard, and Fine Master II is loaned to the wickedest

rider in the three counties.  What will happen to Fine Master?  What will

happen to Diyannarra and Bobby?  Will Bobby ever achieve her aim and

represent Britain in the Pony Europeans or never ride again?

Masters future depend Diyannara getting her head back together and her

horses back on the yard.  With the help of Emma, it may come true.
