NATIONAL EQUINE DATABASE (NED) NED will hold the horse or ponies details,
as well as the name and address of the breeder and owner. This horse passport
based information about horse and owner is being collected by NED in order to
provide a source of data that supports veterinary disease control and
surveillance activities. The information will also enable Defra to carry out its
responsibilities regarding the implementation of the horse passport requirement.
It will also facilitate strategic planning within the equine sector, assist in
tracing the owners of straying, lost or stolen horses and reduce malpractice in
the sale of horses and ponies. The data collected for this purpose will be
adequate, relevant and not excessive for the above purposes. For the equine
industry in general, the information passed to NED will provide a central
archived source of Breeding, Evaluation and Performance (BEP) data which will
enhance the quality of horses bred in Great Britain. BEP data will be accessible
by other interested parties (for a fee) via Internet website.

Very flashy black points a very long thick mane. Kindest pony in the world was very thin apparently. Sold by a girl called Julie from Rishton to someone who she thinks was called Claire or Carol around 40 blonde hair and she drove a purple Mitsubishi Animal or Warrior and had an iforwilliams trailer which she also said was purple/lilac. This lady was she belived in the Wilpshire area and had a little boy. He was sold for non payment of livery costs. Whereabouts of CONKER, he is a
chestnut gelding and would now be about 30 years +/-. I sold him about 10 yrs
ago to a family in Dover, they had there own stables near the cliffs and their
little girl was to have him. He was a livley thing for his age and had a white
strip down his face, I would just like to know how he is doing or was if in past

I purchased a 14hh black gelding, welsh sec D cross dales. Unfortunately his passport was lost so he just has a horse and pony one and we don't know his real name! He is black with 2 black socks to the fetlock on his hind legs, a small white scar on his left shoulder, he gives kisses and is very well mannered he loves children and they can play safely with him or ride him all day. PLEASE READ THIS!!! I am desperately seeking Megan. She is a welsh sec D chestnut mare approx 14.3hh and I think about 6 years old. She was previously mistreated before she came to us but I helped bring her on and gain her confidence so much that I could take her on pleasure rides, to shows, and even hunt her. She had done carriage driving as well. She meant the world to me, but not being my horse, she was sold by Jo Gladstone from the Colyton area around the beginning of 2007,iv heard, to a lady in a village near Newton Abbot. she is a gorgeous mare and the pictures I have added do her no justice at all. I miss her so much and would just really love to know where she is and how she's getting on. I haven't stopped thinking about her since she went, she means so much to me I couldn't bear to watch her go, and with the amount of horses coming and going from the yard I had grown quite accustomed to that, but not with my screggy!! please please please if anyone knows anything,! even the slightest possible thing that I could use to trace her I would be eternally grateful. Do you know Winston?? He is a 16hd chestnut thoroughbred gelding. I recently bought him from a Dealer in December 2006 with which he had a cleveland bay passport, this also showed that his sire was 'Stereo' from the USA and his Dam is 'Harare Sun' from Ireland. Also due to some research I found that Stereo was a son of 'The Minstrel' who won the Derby. Anyway Winston is chestnut with an arc stripe( a backward looking question mark) on his face, also with two white hind socks and two white fore socks just up to his fetlocks. he is a lovely horse and I couldn't wish for a better temperament as he is sooo loving. Also on his passport it says that his breeder is Mr P MC Allister from the North of Ireland, Banbridge. HISTORY WANTED on Sunny (show name sunshine boy) a 14.1hh dark bay Anglo Arab x. He was born in 1976 was sold from a dealer to a Mr Davey, who then sold him onto Silverton Foxhound hunt, Then onto a Mr & Mrs smith then on to me some 20 years ago. Sunny unfortunately passed away this year aged 31 and I desperately miss him, which is why I would like to know who his sire/dam was and where he came from. He was used by me a show pony and happy hacker but previously used as a hunter pony for the huntmasters son. I know this is a needle in a hay stack but any info on him would be gratefully received. However if you know of any other way to trace his past I would welcome suggestions. I have no details on him other than what I have already said. Information wanted on two women in the Great Gonerby area of Grantham who have had found guilty at court in the past two years for the theft of horses on loan to them. They have continued to carry out this disgusting habit that seriously affects the owners who believe the horse/pony has been passed on to a caring family, in reality the horses/ponies could well find themselves on a plate. Any assistance or information on the matter of these two women who are well known would be of assistance. He was sold by a lady who promised she would let me know where he was. He has got a freezemark EDV2 or EDV1. pony was 12.2hh and was grey dappled in colour dark grey called pepper and she
was sold on big 3 riding stable Urmston when she was 6 she way be around 12-15
year old now. The family that ought her got her for 400 pounds and they moved
her to Robinsons in Urmston and then later on to laffertys in Urmston where
there were peppers old stable chums sully ect. The last time I saw pepper she
was white but still had dapples down her legs and she was well built and doing
well at gymkhanas being ridden by the owner of saint a 15hh horse steel grey

thoroughbred mare 15.1h called Delta, owned by my for eight years. She is
possibly around eighteen years old, dark bay with a small white star. She was
bought by me in the Hartlepool Cleveland area and has, as far as I can gather
had been around the North East of England for some time. She has distinctive old
white scaring down her left side which continues around her girth line. She has

I'm trying to find the location of the S Lazy S Ranch where my horse came from. In 1950 my parents bought me an bay quarter horse gelding named Prince. He was about 15 at the time and had a S Lazy S brand on his left shoulder. The brand was a S with a horizontal S beneath it. We were living in Vincennes, IN at the time. Sunny is a 9 year old, non-registered palomino gelding. He is approximately 15.2 at his withers. I had Sunny for nearly six years, when he was stolen one night while I was away at college last year. I later found out with police assistance, that he was sold at Thurmont Horse Auction in February of 2005. He is the love of my life. He may be developing navicular (the vet thought he was, and we were going to xray for it but he was stolen before she came out), but will seem ok on the flat as of now, though whoever has him may notice he is resistant to jump. Did you know/ own/ breed; Penny, may have been reg, BSJA as Rockthorne Red N Sox. Fiery chestnut flaxen mare, 14.1hh, approx 10 yrs old. Good bone although not feathered. Mane is very fluffy naturally. Wide white blaze, even white socks on fore legs to just below her knees, white sock on off side hind leg, with white ' splash' marks above. Small white sock on near side hind leg, with white ' splash' mark above. Prophets thumbmark on near side shoulder. Loves to jump, not keen on hacking, hates tractors! Can be very strong, has been known to buck. Now in permanent loving home where she is doing well, please contact if you have any info, as we know virtually nothing about her! Connemara pony Smithy in July/August of 2004 to the Jardine family in Ayr,
Scotland. I heard that last year he was sold on again to a home in Livingstone
and since then I have lost contact with the Jardine's to hear about how he is
getting on. If anyone knows anything of him, I'd love to hear how he's getting

I am tracing history on bay and white gelding I have acquired. He is between 9 and 15 years of age. about 16.1hh. he is freeze marked E1 J0 and has a damaged near side front hoof and tendon damage on the same leg. I am currently loaning this horse and wish to buy him from the current owners but they brought him from a dealer in Kent about 3 months ago with out a passport or any history. I'm concerned about buying this animal without knowledge as to how he received these injuries as he has a few behavioural problems and I have a hunch he's been hit by a car. I would love to know what happened to my old horse, her show name was Little od (sired by Odelisk) known as Linnet. She was a Dark Liver Chestnut, Part-bred Arab Mare, white blaze and two small white socks on her hind feet. She also had scars on her front knees due to a fall. "DESPERATELY SEEKING ERIC!! Eric is a Dark Bay Gelding and he is approximately eight years old. He is about 14hh. I have been told that he is Welsh Cob x Arab. He has a combination of a star, stripe and snip on his face (see picture) and socks on his off hind and off fore. He suffers from sweet itch (although he has been given lots of herbs to treat this, and I have heard that it has improved a lot). Eric is freezmarked on his near (left) shoulder, his freezemark is "2V2". He has socks on both offside legs. When I knew him he got nervous and worried easily, and had silly moments. 15.3hh chestnut mare 8/9 ish. Seeking history/breeding for personal reasons only. She has a big white blaze all the way to her nose with three flesh coloured spots on nose within the blaze with chestnut in the middle of them. she has a white ghost like mark on the top of her front left leg and one white sock on her rear right leg with fawny coloured hair round her hooves. she wind sucks when stabled. she has the most loving sweet nature and is very willing and enjoys her schooling and hacking and jumping but she did duck out to the left when i first got her. Have since found out that she has side bone on both front hooves but is comfortable and still in work. muzzle he has white markings all the way up his rear right leg and white up to
his hock on his left leg, his mane is flaxen coloured. He's in a loving home but
he has a few attitude problems and he wont go in a stable as he climbs back out.

Stanbroke mr haze and spring born genrous!?!?!?!? do you no snoopy and gordon. They were separated 2 years ago. Gordon is a welsh section A, chestnut roan, he stands at about 11 hands and would now be about 10 years old. He has a humorous and cheeky character, and was sold on with a trailer to a builder in bury st edmunds. he was sold unbroken. Snoopy is about 21 years old now and was permanently loaned out while her owner is at uni, he is 14 hh tall, very quiet, is light bay and has 3 white socks. Both horses came from st osyth, Essex, and neither were free marked at the time. I believe she was bought from Wales from maybe a pony trekking place after her holiday rider fell in love with her. She has been in Essex ever since and I’d love to know anything of her welsh past and if she ever had any foals etc. she suffers from sweet itch and has very ‘well sprung’ ribs, I think she is a welsh x Exmoor as mealy muzzle and massive beautiful eyes. and did have a massive jump! (I believe she used to compete in open horse
classes with old owners Lorna and Nick in Essex). I also believe she has had

Please help me find bumble he was at Bushey wood sanctuary resting after breaking his pedal bone, the owner of the sanctuary has put him out on loan without consent so he is now classified as stolen as she won't give us any information of his where abouts. So we have no other feeling that it wasn't actually a horse sanctuary and we were failed and she sells the horse she gets. Bumble is a 15.2 welsh section d he has a white blaze on his face and freeze marked jd97. He has at the moment a plate in his hind foot as recovering from broken pedal bone. I am trying to find out information about a pony we bought from beeston horse sales approx 17 mnths ago, I will try and describe him as best I can. He is approx 14hh ish grey gelding when I say grey his body is white with dark dapples down his hind quarters and both front legs, he has four white socks, he has a long silver/grey mane and thin tail, he is a tiny bit flea bitten on his face but only slightly, he has a very slightly dished face he may poss be Arab x. He has a distinctive prophets thumb mark on his neck and a tiny pink mark on his upper lip. I would love to find out about his past as we bought him in a very sorry state and he was very nervous, he has a fantastic loving temperament I am sure before he was mistreated he came from a loving home. I am looking for breeding and history of George (aka Charlie) chestnut gelding, 14.2 hands, approx 8/9 years, probably Welsh Section D. He has a very wide white blaze, 3 whites to below the knee/hock (no white on the off hind), a large white patch under his tummy on the offside and a small white patch near the stifle on his nearside hind. I have owned him for a year but prior to this he went through a succession of dealers in 2003 prior to which he was sold by a Mrs Vine from Portsmouth in May 2003. Before this he was owned for a couple of months in Spring 2001 by a dealer called Peter in the Portsmouth area where he used to be known as Charlie. I am desperate to trace his breeding and history prior to 2001. He has some stallion like tendencies so we think he may have been cut late. I know he has been driven in the past. Information wanted on a black Shetland pony. Blackjack, I believe his name to have always been the same. He was bought from Melton Mowbray horse sales on the 3rd of July 2004.He had a bad case of sweet itch at the time and was quite nervous. He is now in a loving home.
