Two Foals were stolen late at night on 6th November 2006, from their field near Tintern, Monmouthshire. One was a six month old Piebald Filly and the other a four month old Skewbald Colt. Both had distinctive eyes, as the colt had very pale blue eyes and the Filly had a small amount of Blue in its right eye. November 28th 2007-1 black and white 2 year old, Foxtrotter Mare-her colt, 7
months old black and white with a perfect white horseshoe on her rear and a
brown and white Foxtrotter philly 11 months old with glass blue eyes. Mare wears
double 00 and 0 shoes. Her tail is cut horizontally and is dark with a white V
color. Mare is "lady", her colt is "Patches" and brown and white colt is "Barbarosa."

FOUND I have rescued two elderly horses found wandering in a field 2 miles from the A1 at Tuxford, Nottinghamshire. Both geldings, one chestnut about 16.2 and quite stockily built with a wide blaze on lower half of face, the other a bay gelding about 15.3-16hands, older than the chestnut with a white star and branded. Both have well trimmed feet but are not shod and both have very good quality and condition weather beater outdoor rugs on. They are fit and well and friendly. They are safe on my land but I would like anyone who thinks they may be their horses to contact me as otherwise I will have to hand them to the RSPCA. I have tried all the local people with horses or livery yards and they are not missing from any local person. As they are not shod I do not think they have galloped a long way, I believe they may have been dumped overnight along a lane nearby where we live. they were found grazing quite happily in a rape field! Your help is needed to help trace this mare. She's red and white, 15 yr old 15hh traditional mare that was stolen on 12th June 07 from Hutton Sessay, Thirsk between 09:30 and 13:00. She was on a chain tether and has had pneumonia when younger and is prone to laminitis. She has a white mane, black forelock and bit of white, she is heavily feathered and has a pink black muzzle with a pink chin, on her right fore she has a small black spot at chestnut and all black eyelashes, her nearside nostril is black, round to bottom of offside nostril and she has a pink line just below her nearside nostril, she has all white whiskers on her muzzle, a white face with red cheeks, a black fleck on her belly and all pink teats. It has not been divulged if the mare is micro-chipped or coded in any way, so I assume that she isn't marked. The owner is offering a reward for the safe return of this mare. Please be advised that sometime overnight on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th July, "Laddie", a 34inch miniature Piebald Shetland Stallion and an Ifor Williams Hunter trailer were stolen from the Gilling East area. The stallion is micro-chipped (977200004492078), he is dark brown and white with a black mane and tail; he has a distinctive brown circle on his back - pictures are attached. Posted 14 Jun 2007 Mr Brock;- 15.2 hh, cob cross shire, piebald mainly black with distinctive white lightening stripe down his neck to left hand shoulder. Black areas flecked with white hair as in old age. Very large white blaze with small black spots dotted within it and one black dot on pink nose between his nostrils. Right hand side of his neck has thin white streak widening out on his shoulder. Black mane, mainly black forelock with white streak, black ears. Very distinctive wall eye (right eye) with white eyelashes. Very full white tail, four white feathers with black and white hooves. Age approximately 15 years. By nature he is extremely placid and calm in practically all situations. Although Mr Brock appears strong and healthy he has lung damage from previous infection and coughs under exertion. He has arthritic clicky shoulders, slightly cow hocked, quite lumpy legs and has been worked hard in the past as a wagon horse. Mr Brock was taken from his field adjacent to Soham by pass (Downfields) on the night of Saturday 26th / early hours of Sunday 27th after the post and rail fencing was removed. Police attended approximately 7am Sunday morning after member of the public called to report several horses running loose on the by pass. Mr Brock`s field mate was recovered and secured back in the field by police, two other horses were also put back in a field just down the road - only Mr Brock is still missing. Three officers attended the incident (Incident number 171 - 27/05/07) a Rachel Loveridge and Dave Osborne the third officer unknown. The Crime reference number is CF0295820507. I spoke to a very helpful officer at the control centre Louise Firth collar number 8366. Police chose to believe the horses had all just `broken out` hence the delay in registering a theft and acquiring a crime reference number - however close inspection proves that the fence rails were forceably broken from outside the field. 1st June 06 Toby 14.3hh heavyweight tri coloured gelding. Aged 16. Toby
was stolen from his field in Telford, the thieves cut the fence to gain
access. He is micro-chipped, he is mainly white with bay markings. White mane,
tail, forelock, and four white legs. The only black areas are a patch on his
left knee, small tuft of black mane at withers, and a small streak in his
forelock by his left ear - only visible if you lift the forelock up. He was
lame in his right shoulder when taken, shod on fronts only. He is very gentle,
but can be bargy if mishandled. He wasn't cut until aged 12, so could be
mistaken for a stallion as very heavily built. Please, please if you are

SNOWAY. Chestnut and White Stallion 15.2hh. Went missing from Gorrick Wood off Nine Mile Ride, Crowthorne near Bracknell in Berkshire at 11.30am on Sunday 20 August. He broke free from the cart with all his harness and one shaft still attached. He is Microchipped and has a Tattoo under his mane. I HAVE JUST HAD A TELEPHONE CALL FROM A LADY WHO HAS HAD A HORSE STOLEN FROM THE ST MICHAEL'S / HIGH HALDEN AREA OF MAIDSTONE. 1. Mare. 15H heavy coloured cob (black and white). 9 Yrs old. Due to foal in
five weeks. Full and heavy feather from the knees down. Wide White face and
muzzle, black up both sides of the head, white mane (full), black chest. white
neck and shoulders both sides. white bum both sides, on right rear a large
black mark extending from the top of the hind quarter half way along its back
and down to its belly then a smaller mark on its belly running quarter way up
towards the back and short way towards front legs. On the left a black mark
extending from the front of the rear quarter, quarter way along its back and
circling from the top to its belly. All 4 legs white. Black full tail.
Stolen 31.07/01.08.2006 from Stainforth at Doncaster - 25+ year old mare called BABE, light palomino, 12.1 hands with white blaze. Not shod. Has marble size growth on rear quarters. Underweight. Snarls at people. Owner fears she maybe sold onto a "knacker man" in the very near future. An attempt was made to steal two other ponies from the same location, but this proved difficult and they were left loose on the road. The pony detailed below is still regarded as missing rather than stolen. He was being ridden in the Tickton, near Beverley area of East Yorkshire on Monday evening 24th July when he decanted his rider and took off. He has not been seen since, despite a massive search both on foot and on horseback and by the police helicopter. The horse was in a field with 3 other horses which were not stolen. Stolen from a Telford field on Thursday night: TOBY: 16 year old distinctive, brown, black and white cob, big and heavy with lots of mane and feather. He will be difficult to sell on as his owner still has his papers and he is well known on the horse-competition scene. He has arthritis. The owner feels the horse was targeted as five other horses in the same field were left. (The fence had been cut through to gain access.) The Shetlands below were stolen from carton village nr Staines on 24 march 06 a fourth has been recovered in the Sussex area and the owner has asked for our help in publicising the ponies. All three are mirco-chipped the piebald has a full black face and very thick mane and tail. The red and white full red face and thick mane these too are 32ins and are father and son. The one recovery is the mum. The 3rd is a dark bay and white four white socks front right sock goes up to her mane rear right up to her tail. Chestnut mare.
A chestnut mare approx 14hh with small flecks of white on her forehead (not big
enough to be called a star), aged about 15years was found abandoned in
Hertfordshire. She was in a terrible state and as a result she has had to be
destroyed. The RSPCA and the Police would dearly like to trace her owner but
have drawn a blank. I have spoken to the RSPCA Inspector to obtain as much
information as possible and I have checked our data of stolen horses, I cannot
find anything matching this description but if anyone has any information or

Libby was sold to a Geoff Buger and a girl called Sarah living in Bracknell, they paid a deposit and have not paid the finally payment. FOUND 2 Shetland ponies. My friend runs a horse and pony rescue in the West Midlands area. Last month we were called to collect 2 Shetlands that were wandering in the Dudley area. care/livery whilst the owner was negotiating a location move from Norfolk to
Warwickshire. When they went to collect the horse they found him gone with all

ZODIAC - my Appaloosa x Arab gelding was stolen on 20th February 2003 and sold at CAMBRIDGE HORSE SALES on Friday 21st February, 2003. He changed hands a few times outside the ring with the dealers and we have no idea of his whereabouts. If you were at the sales or know of someone who has acquired a spotted horse since February please contact me. Our family is absolutely devastated at his loss. He is 4 years old, near leopard spot, (liver coloured spots) but coming into winter may appear more like a flea-bitten grey. He was standing at approx 15.1hh but still growing. He was shod only in front when he was stolen. Mane (lays right) and tail white and quite full, grows small amount of feather. Araby looking head with a few freckles but not obvious spots. I had my miniature Shetland pony stolen from the Copthorne (West Sussex) area on the 29th of September. He was taken by a white transit van at 3pm in the afternoon. We have put up a reward of £1,000 for information leading to his return. He is 7 years old and chestnut skewbald, 4 white socks, no white markings on face, thick light coloured mane and tail, has a clipped out coat with the legs left hairy at present (like hunter clip), brownish coloured teeth, light coloured hoofs, approx. 32 inches, mane lays on the left side.
