Description: Lupines are perennial or sometimes annual herbs
; their leaflets are narrow; their flowers are pea-like, often blue, but yellow or white in some
species. They have pods up to 1 inch in length.
Symptoms
may include: Staggering,
inability to stand and convulsions. Some varieties can cause
reproductive disorders.
Notes: POISON
LOCATION: Seeds,
pods & young leaves. Risk
of poisoning is low due to unpalatability of the toxic Lupins. No known treatment.
